Children who will be five years of age on or before September 1, 2019 are eligible for kindergarten. If your child is eligible for kindergarten but will not be attending the 2019-2020 school year, please call (507) 328-4200 or email Registration@rochester.k12.mn.us so that we may update our records.

You can register online by visiting http://www.rochester.k12.mn.us/…/registration___recor…/forms or by visiting the Registration & Records Office M-F 8 AM - 4:45 PM at the Edison Administration Building (615 7th St. SW).

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO REGISTER:
1. Immunization Record (The most recent record you have. We realize your child may not be up to date if they have not yet turned five years old).
2. Certified Birth Certificate (not hospital certificate). Bring your Certified Birth Certificate and we will create a photocopy, no need to purchase an additional certified copy.
3. Early Childhood Developmental Screening Summary (only if your child was screened in another school district).

IMPORTANT NOTE: Non-public students must enroll in Rochester Public Schools to receive transportation, standardized testing, and other student support services. Students planning to attend St. Pius, St. Francis, or Holy Spirit are automatically enrolled in Rochester Public Schools.
